A retail company page that leads all 35 country pages of its chain
Before
The local LinkedIn page of an international retail chain runs in one of the smaller markets of the group, with the same brand, guidelines and products as 34 other country pages.
What we did
- People, not products. Careers, leaders and local community moments lead; stores and products are the backdrop.
- Early engagement built in. Employee ambassadors and the main brand account comment early, because early reactions decide how far a post travels.
- A fixed rhythm with monthly tests. About eight posts a month, prepared ahead. Every report ends with tests for the next month: carousels, polls, English posts.
Result

The page ranked first of the chain’s 35 country pages in engagement per 1,000 followers (April 2024 – March 2025), and over the last 352 days it collected about twice as many engagements per 1,000 followers as the pages in two neighbouring countries. Six months after the new strategy, impressions had grown 6.1 times.
Leaders and stories travel furthest: a leader interview in the national press reached 4,363 impressions, 14 times more than a job ad video the same month (313). Storytelling and milestone recaps scored ten times higher than product and brand-partnership posts.
A company page does not need a bigger audience or budget to lead. It needs a clear audience, people-first content and a rhythm that does not break.
